The best thing to do is watch spaceweather.com for sun activity. All Northern and Southern Lights activity comes from that. Look for days with high K-index values.

Northern Lights

Just loved this picture and willing to see it thru my own eyes. It is rare to find such views in Ontario. People travel to Alberta or Europe to see such beautiful mother nature's miracle. Tell me what is the best time of the year to watch it. Is December end is good time? Thanks
